Moves like Jaeger

Impossible de lui échapper. Elle bougeait beaucoup trop vite pour lui avec de gestes si précis et calculés qu’il pouvait difficilement esquiver ses attaques. Bon peut-être qu’au beau milieu de l’entraînement avec toutes les recrues n’étaient pas le moment idéal pour tenter de provoquer Annie en lui disant qu’elle ne pourrait rien contre lui puisqu’il s’était «pratiquer sans relâche pour la battre». Le regard qu’elle lui avait lancé après ses paroles fut le premier signe qu’il serait fichu. Le deuxième signe était sans doute le coup de poing qu’il avait reçu à la figure avant même qu’il ne puisse relever les bras pour se mettre en position. Le dernier signe était la position dans laquelle ils se trouvaient à présent : Annie le plaquant au sol, les bras enroulés autour de son cou l’empêchant pratiquement de respirer.

Eren, bien naïf et immature soit-il, comprenait très bien qu’il n’avait aucune chance de pouvoir la repousser, alors il tenta de lui signaler qu’il abandonnait. Elle avait gagné cette ronde, il lui accordait volontiers la victoire, si cela signifiait pouvoir respirer à nouveau librement. Il se tortilla un peu, voyant qu’elle ne relâchait pas son emprise et commençait à se demander si elle l’avait vraiment entendu.

Lorsqu’elle lui répondit, Eren écouta à peine son discours avant de geindre et de rassembler le reste de ses forces pour lui demander à nouveau de la relâcher. Ses bras autour de son cou auraient été agréables, si elle n’essayait pas de lui faire du mal avec ceux-ci. Au point où il en était, avec son visage devenant rouge à cause de la prise et du manque d’oxygène, Eren était prêt à lui dire tout ce qu’elle voulait entendre pour qu’elle le laisse tranquille. Ses yeux se fermèrent par réflexe, alors qu’il écoutait à moitié Annie s’adresser à lui. Lui proposait-elle vraiment de lui apprendre de nouveaux mouvements… alors qu’elle était en train de le malmener ainsi? Voulait-elle dire autre chose…?

He really had been working at it, she thought. Although her moves were faster, more precise, she could clearly see that his guard was no longer clumsy or obsolete. He still had to work on speed, that was a given but his hits were getting alarmingly close to hitting her. For once, she could feel her heartbeat accelerating, her breath hitching. It was fun, really; it had been so long since she’d found a –somewhat- decent sparring partner. But there was a whole lot more to work on before he would make her break a sweat.

Grabbing his neck, she flings the both of them down, successfully pinning him to the muddy ground. She almost laughs at his attempt to surrender. How weak, she still had quite a bit of sense to knock into him.

“Surrender?” she asks voice dangerously low, “You don’t need to surrender, you need to learn”. Her grasps around his neck tightens, eliciting choked sounds from the brunette. It’s strange how elated she feels by this power she seems to be holding at the moment.

When he assures her breathlessly that he has indeed learnt and that she should let go, she let herself chuckle aloud: “You want to learn other moves now? You’ve already grown bored of this lesson, Jaeger?” For a moment, she realizes how twisted and cruel she must sound. Poor Eren, he never really knew what he got himself into. It’s the least she could do though; a future Titan Shifter should know how to defend himself and fight. She had purposefully omitted that detail from their lessons, as her mission entailed but she knew the time was coming where he would transform… and although he might not stand by her side, he better stand strong.

She was about add something when she suddenly felt a shadow looming over her. Quickly, she pushes herself from Eren just in time for Reiner to come crashing down onto the other boy. She turns, knowing full-well only one person could fling Reiner around like he was some rag doll.
Fucking Mikasa Ackerman.

The expression seeing red had never been more befitting then at this very instant for Mikasa. Today was supposed to be a normal training day, routine. All that changed when Annie had conveniently decided hurting Eren was going to become her hobby. Mikasa gritted her teeth, her fists clenching as she watched the scene unfolding a few feet away from her. Clearly Annie had the advantage and she damn well knew it, she knew she was playing Eren like a fiddle and ridiculing him in front of everyone. Although it was highly uncalled for it would teach Eren to stop being a brat sometimes and spouting that he could win at everything, all the time.

Even if by some miracle Eren would learn his lesson from this, it still itched her in the wrong way that Annie was touch- no hurting him, she was just angry because Annie was clearly torturing her poor Eren. Enough was enough if she thought she could play tough then Mikasa would show her how tough it could get. She was not boasting her own strength, far from that, she knew she wasn’t as skilled in martial arts as the blonde young woman but at least she would put up a fight against her and teach her a thing or two about messing with Eren. No one messed with Eren, Mikasa made sure of that. After all, who had beat up the bullies that had dared to lay a hand on her Eren and Armin? She had wiped their faces in dirt and made them beg to go back home crying to their mommies and wishing they had never even thought of bullying her precious friends.

The stormy eyed girl didn’t make it a habit to terrorize people, she hardly had to lift a finger to send the message, a simple cold stare would do but when those little pests crossed the line she ultimately found herself crossing it too. This time was no exception. Annie wouldn’t back down with a simple cold gaze, no the woman was tough and resilient the only way to stand on equal footing with her was to bear arms against her. That was why when she noticed that the blue-eyed trainee had yet to let go of her chokehold on Eren, and was in Mikasa’s opinion way to close to him, she decided to throw caution to the wind and begin her assault.

Unfortunately for Reiner he was the first on in her field of vision and ultimately the victim in her battle. Disappointingly she noticed that the big hunk of flesh she had thrown had missed its target. She gritted her teeth but reigned in her expression in a calm, collected glare, regarding Annie as if she were just an obstacle in her way. Her trip towards them was brief and once she stood towering above them she spoke with a frigid tone, a tone that dared defiance.

“How about you give me a lesson, Annie?”
