A journey on the Seas

Emile woke up in his captain's cabin. Wobbled a bit until he had a big gulp of rum, and headed to his dresser. He put on his padded leather shirt and pant, harness, holsters and guns, his big black leather trench-coat and finally the most important part, his captain's hat, which was adorned with a blue and a white feather. Emile then staggered to the doors of his cabin, stood up straight and Opened them. He was greeted by the sight of his crew hard at work and setting up for their Journey.

"Men and women! Today we sail to find ourselves some Treasure! Fame! new mates for our crew! and most important of all...." takes a short pause "RUUUUUUM!" He shouts, as he takes his sword out and  shakes it in the air.

He waited for his crew to calm down a bit before addressing his helmsmen "Helmsmen! Sail for Tortuga!"

"Aye Aye Captain!" His helmsmen responded

And with these words Emile was off. Off the shores of Britain to make his way to Tortuga, where he would hope to find fame, fortune, and most of all, Rum! He was also looking for a bigger crew, having lost most of his crew to a British navy surprise attack. Emile walked up to the ship's wheel, felt the wood and breathed in the air of the sea, he knew he was home, he knew he was free.

Emile drove the beautiful Winged mercy, a "Man of war" type ship, with 21 sails and over 100 cannons, his ship was a force to be recon with. Despite being heavily armed, his ship was also one of the fastest the British navy had ever seen, being able to turn its angle to shoot enemy ships in only a matter of seconds.

Tortuga was a few weeks away, but he had no doubt that he would make it without a hinge.
