Introduction/Summary post

This tale does not have a happy ending, for there is no prince to marry a princess and there is no way they can live together ever after. However, love can make any ending a happy one.

The lands of the three continents, Maria, Rose, and Sina, are prospering. The Endless War has ended, and the sun that the people thought would never rise now shines bright upon every country and its citizens. The economy is flourishing, small businesses working hand in hand with large ones to provide ideal goods and services to all. The bonds that were broken between the countries during the Endless War are slowly being mended back together, and in times of prosperity like these, there is only one problem left for the governing royalty of every country to resolve: succession.

Prince Levi is next in line for the throne of the country of Stohess. A short and lean young man, he takes his responsibilities with utmost seriousness and trains himself both physically and mentally to support the country's prosperous future when he ascends to the throne. His favourite hobbies include reading, gardening, swordplay, and horseback riding.

Prince Jean is next in line for the throne of the country of Trost. Tall, strong, and handsome, his natural charm and overt personality attracts the stare of many ladies of the court, and even those outside the castle walls. Arrogant and proud, he believes himself ready to take the throne at any moment and between studies, he spends his time getting dirty in the courtyard or training grounds. His favourite hobbies include playing board games with the court, exercising in the courtyard, swordplay and horseback riding.

Note how marriage is in neither of their favourite hobbies.

But maybe, just maybe, they can help each other through it.
